Job summary

PT Near Me is a Florida in-home physical therapy company hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to treat patients in their homes. You’ll deliver skilled therapy, educate patients, and document progress, while scheduling independently and enjoying back-office support.

This contract/PRN role emphasizes autonomy and patient-centered care in a mobile, home-based setting. Florida PTA license or eligibility is required, with pay per visit and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible).
• Knowledge of outpatient/home rehab techniques, anatomy, and medical terminology.
• Reliable transportation and ability to manage time and service area independently.
• Strong communication skills and passion for helping patients regain function at home.
• Home-based care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled treatment under a PT-authored plan of care in patients' homes—exercise, mobility and gait training, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and trigger-point techniques.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, mobility strategies, and safety.
• Document each visit accurately and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Keep every home visit safe and professional.
• Treat a range of cases—post-accident, post-surgical, and chronic-condition patients.
