Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensure/registration as required in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and patient-centered communication.
• Ability to follow clinical direction, observe changes, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Comfort working in home environments and supporting clients with mobility limitations.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans.
• Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and safe mobility activities.
• Monitor patient progress and report outcomes to the clinical team.
• Document treatment and observations in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with caregivers and interdisciplinary staff to support care continuity.
• Educate patients and families on safe movement, home exercise programs, and fall prevention.
• Support clients in maintaining independence and quality of life in their homes.
