Job summary

MDH Network, Inc. is seeking a Program Instructor in Los Angeles, CA to work full-time on a day shift.

You will support intellectually and developmentally challenged adults in their homes and community activities, with a pay range of $20.00 to $22.50 per hour. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of relevant experience, a valid California driver's license, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; must be at least 18 years old.
• At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, dual diagnoses, or in the care of medically fragile individuals.
• Valid driver's license and California auto insurance; may travel to community locations; company vehicle if available requires 21+.

Responsibilities

• Assist in initial and ongoing assessments of participants and coordinate with family and support circle.
• Provide supportive training across activities such as health, grooming, mobility, job and personal skills, communication, socialization and coping skills.
• Perform basic medical treatment as prescribed and document all reports timely and accurately; communicate with stakeholders.
