Mercedes Diaz Homes Inc in Whittier, CA is seeking a Coordinated Family Support Instructor - BIL Eng./Vietnamese pref to support adults with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. This full-time daytime role offers an hourly wage of $24.00 to $27.00.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED; an associate degree in human services or 3 years relevant experience; valid California driver's license and insurance; and ability to read, write, and speak English.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required, and be at least 18 years old.
• Associate degree in a human services field or three years of relevant experience with individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, dual diagnoses, or forensic involvement.
• Valid California driver’s license and auto insurance; able to drive to community locations with/without other team members.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual in English/Cantonese or Vietnamese preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their home and community daily routines and recreational activities.
• Document and complete reporting accurately and timely; communicate progress and barriers with stakeholders.
• Engage in training and team meetings; promote CARE values and assist in coaching others.
