Adventist Health in Sonora, CA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide physical therapy treatments under supervision, using modalities, manual techniques and exercises. You will guide patients through bed mobility, transfers, gait and balance activities in a dynamic clinical setting.

The role requires PTA licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and a valid driver's license. Education and experience preferences include an Associate's/Technical Degree and 2 years in therapy,

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Two years' technical experience preferred.
• Experience in therapy in an acute care, acute therapy unit, or outpatient setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs physical therapy treatments using modalities, manual techniques and exercises.
• Instructs patients through bed mobility, transfers, gait and balance activities.
• Observes treatment precautions and reports changes to supervising therapists.
• Documents interventions and treatments in patient charts, including outpatient records.
• Provides education to patients and caregivers, adjusting to learning styles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Formação académica

High School Education/GED or equivalent

Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience

Two years' technical experience

Experience in therapy in an acute care environment, acute therapy unit and/or out patient setting
