Adventist Health in Sonora, CA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join a dedicated care team. You will deliver physical therapy treatments using modalities and manual techniques, and tailor exercises to each patient.

The role includes educating patients and caregivers, documenting treatments, and collaborating with supervising therapists. A PTA license and CPR/BLS are required, with adherence to vaccination policies and E-Verify as applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in therapy in an acute care environment, acute therapy unit and/or out patient setting.
• CPR or BLS certification from approved vendor per policy.
• Documents employee and out-patient treatments, as necessary.
• Provides education and training to patients and caregivers, while incorporating learning style preferences.

Responsabilités

• Provides physical therapy treatments, including modalities, manual techniques and common exercise techniques.
• Documents patient treatments and progress in records.
• Educates patients and caregivers on therapy plans and exercises.
• Assesses education and training responses.
