TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a local contract Physical Therapy Assistant for a focused outpatient rehab role in Waymart, PA. Supervised by a Licensed Physical Therapist, you will provide in-home therapy and participate in a flexible schedule across settings to enhance patient independence.

The position emphasizes hands-on rehabilitation, patient education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support older adults in functional recovery and community living.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from patients' residences.
• PTA licensure or eligibility as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend and contribute to patient care and staff conferences under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain adherence to department and patient treatment schedules and complete timely clinical and billing documentation.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to implement individualized patient programs.
• Assist the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instruct patients and caregivers in home exercise programs and treatment techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all patients treated.
