Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home health team in Cedar Park, TX. You will evaluate patients at home, craft personalized plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain.

Strong communication and adaptability are essential as you educate patients and caregivers, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance safety and independence in daily living.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Texas.
• Evidence of professional liability insurance coverage for Texas practice.
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Ability to adapt care approaches to diverse patient needs and personalities.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility and alleviate pain.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and adaptive strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes using digital platforms.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments and make recommendations to prevent falls or re-injury.
• Deliver compassionate care while empowering patients toward greater independence.
