Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation, LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our in-home and outpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, treat, and educate older adults in their homes or living facilities, delivering patient-centered therapy that restores function and independence.

Minimum licensure and degree requirements apply, including a PT license and a master's degree; opportunities for mentorship, CEUs, visa sponsorship, and relocation support are available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or Master's in a PT-related field with Bachelor's in Physical Therapy.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
• The qualifying PT degree earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from patients' residences.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in the home setting.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Instruct and educate patients and caregivers to promote independence.
• Supervise PT assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel as applicable.
• Adhere to department schedule, complete documentation timely, and participate in relevant meetings.
• Deliver a range of therapies including therapeutic exercises, gait training, manual therapy and wellness education.
