Job summary

Scylla Solutions LLC seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home outpatient rehabilitation for older adults. You will evaluate and treat patients in their homes or independent living settings under supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, with a flexible schedule.

You will perform therapeutic exercises, functional training, manual therapy, airway clearance, and various modalities, while documenting care and coordinating with the rehabilitation team to support patient

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to the patient’s residence.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other required meetings as a representative of physical therapy.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedule, and completes timely clinical and billing documentation.
• Collaborates with the rehabilitation team to implement patient programs.
• Acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in PT techniques under supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Cleans, maintains, and reports equipment needs.
• Provides in-home PT treatments including therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual therapy, airway clearance, and modalities.
