Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services across Houston and surrounding areas. This role focuses on compassionate, client-centered care delivered in the pet’s home environment.

We value doctors who thrive in hard conversations, can work independently in a mobile setting, and want a flexible schedule with production-based earnings. Privately held, family-owned, doctor-led, with no non-compete contracts.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment.
• Weekend availability on a rotational basis.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted.
• Exude compassion, dignity and respect for all families.
• Professional communication with teams and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services to pets.
• Coordinate care with pet families to ensure compassionate end-of-life support.
• Travel to client homes across the Houston area and surrounding communities.
