Job summary

MaineTouch LLC is seeking Personal Support Specialists (PSS) to provide in-home non-medical support for adults and seniors, promoting safety and independence in their homes. Training and supervision are provided, with day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts as applicable.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, mobility, light housekeeping, meals, and companionship, while maintaining HIPAA-compliant confidentiality and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Active PSS certification in Maine or willingness to enroll within 60 days.
• CNA certification accepted (active or inactive).
• No experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, non-medical support to adults in their homes.
• Assist with personal care tasks and mobility/transfers.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, and errands as outlined in care plan.
• Provide companionship and assist daily routines.
• Document accurately and follow care and safety guidelines.
