Job summary

ACMH is seeking a Peer Program Specialist (Scattered Site) in The Bronx, NY. This role provides direct services to clients in their homes, teaching daily living skills and supporting recovery goals under supervision.

Qualifications

• Lived experience receiving mental health services and related programs.
• NYCPS certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct service to clients in their homes.
• Teach daily living skills and monitor client progress.
• Assist with budgeting, meal planning, laundry and cleaning.
• Monitor apartment maintenance and safety.
• Administer medication self-administration training per policy.
• Document services and client progress in records.
• Escort clients for travel as needed.
• Facilitate or co-facilitate groups when requested.
