Job summary

Assisted Living Services, Inc. is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to provide in-home eldercare. The role requires caring for clients on set shifts, including weekends, with duties spanning ADLs, companionship, mobility, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.

Training and PPE provided; benefits include health options and direct deposit. Pay ranges from $16.94 to $22.00 per hour, with full-time opportunities available in Shelton, CT.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience working in a home care or healthcare setting.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to comply with all legal and organizational requirements.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic domestic services (meal prep, laundry, light housework).
• Provide companionship and engage in conversation with the client.
• Assist with mobility issues and help client in/out of bed or wheelchair.
• Remind client to take medications.
• Help with personal hygiene (brushing teeth, toileting, bathing).
• Change bed linens regularly.
• Assist with all daily activities based on client needs.
• Provide a caring, positive presence and act in emergencies.
