Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation in Greenfield and Deerfield, MA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-home outpatient rehabilitation for older adults.

You will assess, plan, and implement OT services in patients' homes or independent living facilities, collaborating with families and care teams. A valid OT license, NBCOT, and driver's license required; generous benefits and visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Initial registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Current state OT license in good standing.
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation to patient residences.

Responsibilities

• Supervise OT assistants, temporary licensees, students and staff per state rules.
• Maintain timely clinical and billing documentation and attend meetings.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team and physicians to select appropriate therapy plans.
• Evaluate patients, establish goals, and adapt plans to patient needs in home/community settings.
• Provide in-home OT services to improve daily living, mobility, and safety.
• Order supplies/equipment and ensure safe, functional home environments.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as required.
