Job summary

First Senior Home Health in Tampa, FL seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in-home skilled therapy. You will perform OASIS assessments, develop treatments, and guide patients toward greater independence in daily activities.

Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians, educating families, and documenting progress. Florida licensure, ACOTE-accredited program, and 1+ year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an OT program ACOTE accredited and eligible for NBCOT.
• Must be licensed or registered in Florida.
• 1 year of institutional experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required. Online CPR not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled in-home OT services per physician orders.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments including OASIS.
• Develop and implement interdisciplinary care plans with the physician.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and use of assistive devices.
• Prepare progress notes within 48 hours of visits.
