Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to deliver in-home therapy services under physician supervision. You will assess patients with neuromuscular, skeletal, and perceptual disorders, plan treatments, and coordinate visits with the office to maintain schedules.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited OT program, a current state OT license, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. Prior acute, rehab, or home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current state OT license and valid driver's license.
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care settings.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of experience in acute care or home care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home occupational therapy services under physician direction.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Schedule patient visits and coordinate with office daily.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with agency staff, physicians, and patients.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and work independently, including emergencies.
