Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-home therapy to patients with neuromuscular, skeletal and perceptual disorders under physician direction. Graduate of accredited OT program; current state license; valid driver's license; CPR certification; and minimum 1 year of relevant experience required.

You will assess, plan and implement treatments, coordinate with agency staff and physicians, schedule visits, maintain confidential records, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current state OT license.
• Valid driver's license.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and plan treatments.
• Document and communicate patient progress.
• Schedule patient visits efficiently and independently.
• Coordinate with agency staff, physicians and hospital staff.
• Follow instructions and read maps for patient locations.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in varied environments.
