Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide individualized, in-home and community-based OT services to adults with developmental disabilities across New Jersey.

The OT will evaluate functional performance, develop person-centered treatment plans, and deliver interventions to maximize independence in ADLs, IADLs, sensory processing, and fine motor skills, in line with NJ DDD guidelines. Flexible scheduling and per diem/contract arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey license as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.
• NBCOT certification preferred; required for new graduates.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred; new grads with fieldwork ok.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Clean background check and fingerprinting per NJ DDD requirements.
• Reliable transportation, valid NJ driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass DDD background checks including CRoff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with ISP and person-centered goals.
• Deliver one-on-one therapy services in the participant's home and community settings.
• Document services in compliance with DDD standards, including session notes, progress notes, and outcome measures.
• Collaborate with Support Coordinators, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide caregiver training and home programs to reinforce therapeutic goals between sessions.
• Adhere to all DDD policies and HIPAA confidentiality standards.
• Maintain accurate billing records consistent with DDD Fee-for-Service rates and authorizations.
• Complete required DDD-mandated trainings (Pre-Service, Danielle's Law, etc.).
