Job summary

Ignite Rehab (DBA Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy) seeks a motivated part-time Occupational Therapist to provide in-home care across Passaic County. Trainable new grads welcome; flexible schedule and benefits available. Travel to patients' homes is required, with supportive mentorship for documentation and compliance.

Competitive compensation and a rich benefits package are offered. Base salary ranges from 60,000 to 70,000 USD annually with incentive compensation; medical, dental, and 401(k)

Qualifications

• OT program graduate.
• Licensed OT in NJ or eligible.
• First Aid, AED, CPR certifications.
• Home health experience preferred but not required; mentor provided for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Accept and treat patients within designated geographic area.
• Provide 1:1 treatment.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs.
• Deliver care that aligns with standards and plan of care.
• Educate family members and caregivers on therapy techniques.
• Plan and conduct OT programs to improve function and reduce pain.
• Perform and document initial exam and diagnosis prior to intervention.
• Provide timely documentation for each visit.
• Evaluate treatment effects and adjust for maximum benefit.
• Willing to treat geriatric patients.
