Optum's HomeCall is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide in-home occupational therapy to patients, helping restore physical function and independence. The role includes a weekday schedule and mileage reimbursement.

You will work with a supervising OT and follow state laws to deliver evidence-based care. Responsibilities include following the plan of care, instructing patients and caregivers, observing responses, and reporting to the nurse and physician.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Must have current driver's license and vehicle insurance or access to reliable transportation.

Aufgaben

• Provide occupational therapy to patients in their homes to restore physical function.
• Follow the plan of care defined by the supervising OT and state laws.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to nurses and physicians.
• Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and health team members in therapy areas within the OTA scope.
• Function effectively with diverse clients regardless of age, race, creed, or disability.
