UnitedHealth Group, through Better at Home, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant - Per Diem to deliver in-home therapy helping patients regain their fullest physical ability and independence.

You will follow state laws and the plan of care under the supervising OT, document responses, educate patients and families, and collaborate with nurses and physicians across diverse home environments. This role offers per diem hours with a mix of visits and ambulatory activities.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of Washington.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Must be certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Responsabilités

• Follow state laws and supervising OT directions in home care.
• Follow plan of care and assist patients with evidence-based OT treatment.
• Observe, record and report patient responses to treatment to the nurse and physician.
• Instruct patient, family and care team in therapy areas within OTA scope.
• Provide care in diverse home settings regardless of age, race, creed or disability.
