Better @ Home OCA, a part of LHC Group, is seeking an Occupational Therapist for Home Health. You will assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments and adaptive equipment, and other OT needs as defined by medical conditions.

Formación

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Provides service within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing Occupational Therapy; coordinates with the health care team.
• Evaluates functional status and CMS-required status; consults with physician on plan of care.
• Observes and reports patient responses to treatment and changes in condition.
• Conducts patient assessments evaluating function using diagnostic and prognostic tests.
• Able to work with diverse clients regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, or disability.
