Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver in-home services addressing neuromuscular, skeletal, and perceptual disorders under physician direction. You will assess, plan, and implement therapy in patients' homes, coordinating with physicians and care teams.

The ideal candidate holds an OT degree, state license, CPR certification, and at least one year of relevant experience (two years preferred). The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and travel within service areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current state OT license and valid driver’s license.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health, or long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home occupational therapy services under physician direction.
• Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Maintain documentation and communicate with staff and physicians.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and rehabilitation goals.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and manage emergencies as they arise.
