Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation To You provides in-home occupational therapy services for older adults, with flexible scheduling across Dover, Raymond, Durham, and surrounding communities. The OT assesses, plans and implements rehabilitation in the patient’s home to restore independence and improve quality of life.

Ideal candidates hold ACOTE-accredited OT education, NBCOT certification, and a valid state license, plus a valid driver's license and willingness to travel to patient residences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Initial NBCOT registration and state OT license.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in-home for older adults.
• Direct patient participation to restore, reinforce and enhance function.
• Supervise assistants and students as per licensure and standards.
• Maintain timely documentation and attend care and staffing meetings.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to select appropriate regimens.
• Adapt plan of care to patient needs and ensure a safe environment.
