Job summary

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver outpatient rehabilitation services primarily in patients’ homes, with a flexible schedule ranging from part-time to full-time across Dover, Durham, Newmarket and surrounding NH areas.

You will work within ALF/ILF and community settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to restore function and enhance independence for older adults, supported by mentorship and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required by the state.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable, independent transportation to and from patient residences.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation in in-home settings for older adults.
• Supervise OT Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel as required.
• Maintain timely clinical and billing documentation and attend related meetings.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to tailor therapeutic regimens.
• Adapt plans of care to individual patient needs and promote safety.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum ACOTE standards

Initial registration with NBCOT

Valid OT license

Valid driver’s license / reliable transportation
