Job summary

The MST Therapist at SUN Behavioral Health delivers intensive, evidence-based treatment to youth and families in their homes and communities, aiming to reduce out-of-home placements through the Multisystemic Therapy model. This role requires a Master’s degree and licensure consideration, along with strong communication and organizational skills.

A valid driver’s license and ability to work evenings and weekends are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Licensure or license-eligible in Louisiana (LPC, LCSW, LMFT preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide MST services to youth and families in home and community settings
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with families, schools, and community partners to support treatment goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with MST standards
• Participate in weekly supervision and ongoing training to maintain model fidelity
• Be available for crisis support as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
