Job summary

One Hope United seeks a therapist with a systemic perspective to provide family therapy for youths aged 12–17.5 in their homes, addressing severe behavioral issues through MST. The role requires engaging caregivers and key participants, delivering in-home sessions, and maintaining rigorous documentation in line with MST principles.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree with substantial social service experience working with families and youth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MST assessment, including review of referral information, engaging key participants, and developing interventions.
• Engage primary caregiver and other key participants in active change-oriented solutions.
• Conduct sessions in the youth's natural environment (homes, schools, court dates, community); must have a car.
• Maintain clear documentation of treatment efforts meeting MST Principles and Analytic Process.
• Engage with relevant systems and participants to maintain alignment during MST treatment.
• Participate in MST training, supervision, and consultation.
• Maintain caseloads of 5 families at a time.
• Staff available to families via phone 24/7, with vacations and personal time off exceptions.
• Must be able to work independently and be flexible; must have a car.
• Receive MST certification through a five-day training and ongoing training as required.
