Job summary

Sears Home Services is seeking an experienced In-Home Appliance Service Technician to repair washers, dryers, stoves, microwaves, dishwashers, and other home appliances in customers' homes. You will be responsible for timely repairs and delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to meeting performance targets. A service van, tools, and training are provided.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years appliance maintenance or repair experience preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge including use of tools and test equipment.
• Able to perform accurate repairs on customer products.
• Complete all technician training elements within required timeframes.
• Follow directions and specific steps to ensure quality workmanship.
• Flexible hours including overtime.
• Able to use a computer for parts inquiries and ordering.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
