Job summary

Sears Home Services is seeking an In-Home Appliance Service Technician to repair washers, dryers, stoves and other home appliances at customers’ homes. You will work as part of a leading in-home service team within a Fortune 500 retailer.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of repair experience, solid mechanical knowledge, and a valid driver's license. A service van, tools, and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years appliance repair experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools and test equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of washers, dryers, stoves, microwaves, dishwashers, and other home appliances in customers' homes.
• Provide timely and quality repairs while maintaining high levels of customer service.
• Promote and sell additional products and services when appropriate.
• Follow company processes to ensure safety and quality workmanship.
