Job summary

Havertys Furniture is seeking an Interior Design Consultant to craft dynamic home décor designs for customers in the San Antonio area, with rotations to Selma. The role blends in-store, in-home, and virtual consultations to meet clients’ style, space, and budget goals.

Responsibilities include floor plans, 3D renderings, and assisting Sales Consultants to close sales, with a guaranteed income and uncapped commissions as part of Havertys’ training program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field, or 2–4 years experience; ASID certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation for in-home appointments.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; Room Planner software helpful.

Responsibilities

• Create rooms and spaces with Havertys furniture by selecting items to achieve a complete design.
• Offer in-home, in-store, and virtual consultations to understand client needs and space.
• Create floor plans and photo-realistic renderings for client presentations.
• Assist Sales Consultants to close transactions and plan home visits.
• Coordinate with customers during home visits and final presentations.
