Hospice of Wilson, part of the LHC Group, is seeking a Chaplain/Spiritual Caregiver to provide in-home spiritual care for hospice patients and their families in Wilson, NC. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 2+ units of Clinical Pastoral Education and endorsement by a recognized faith group, with some evening/weekend hours as needed.

Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with travel within a 50-mile radius.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of experience in a health care setting and/or related pastoral experience
• Documentation of endorsement by a Faith group recognized by the Armed Forces Chaplains Board
• Good standing with faith group with no ethical charges
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable transportation

Aufgaben

• Provide spiritual care to Hospice patients and their families
• Lead spiritual conversations with patients/caregivers and walk with them in their journey
• Utilize a range of spiritual resources and refer to community leaders when needed
• Collaborate within the Interdisciplinary Team (IDG) and share insights on emotional and spiritual needs
• Provide spiritual and emotional care to Hospice staff when requested
