Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking an in-home health aide in the Litchfield area. Wage starts at $18/hour; CNAs may earn $20/hour. Eligible after 5 months for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy. Part-time and full-time roles available depending on your availability.

As an in-home caregiver, you will help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Responsibilities include daily living support, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship.

Qualifications

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
• 21 years of age.
• Own reliable transportation with clean driving record; 3 years driving experience.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance and comfortable driving.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer service excellence and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with activities of daily living.
• Hands-on personal cares including dressing, grooming, incontinence and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping in bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, laundry.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Conversation and companionship.
• Interactive caregiving and mobility assistance with transfer tools/equipment.
• Assistance with medication and dementia/Alzheimer's care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shift and cares.
