Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Dassel, MN is hiring an in-home health aide to help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Wage starts at $18/hour, with $20/hour for CNAs; light shifts and part- or full-time hours available.

Eligible after 5 months of employment for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy. Requirements include caregiving experience, age 21+, HS diploma or GED, reliable transportation, valid license/insurance, and DHS background clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
• 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living.
• Provide hands-on personal care (dressing, grooming, incontinence, hygiene).
• Light housekeeping (bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, laundry).
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Provide conversation and companionship.
• Interactive caregiving.
• Assist mobility with transfer tools/equipment.
• Assist with medication.

Comfort Keepers is now hiring for a in home health aide in the Dassel area!

Wage begins at $18 an hour unless Certified Nursing Assistant then $20 an hour. Eligible after 5 months of employment for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy.

Part time and full-time hours available depending on your availability.

About the Job

As an in-home caregiver, you will clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Responsibilities may include:

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
• Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Conversation and companionship.
• Interactive Caregiving.
• Assistance with mobility that may include use of transfer tools/equipment.
• Assistance with medication.
• Dementia or Alzheimer's care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shift as well as cares.
