Job summary

Right at Home Ponte Vedra is seeking compassionate caregivers and Home Health Aides to support clients in Ponte Vedra Beach. You’ll assist with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation, and companionship in home care settings.

Required CNA license or HHA certificates, driver license, background check, CPR, and ability to pass a Level 2 fingerprint check. Flexible schedule, paid training, mileage reimbursements, and benefits available.

Qualifications

• CNA license or HHA certificates as required.
• CPR card required (not online).
• TB test or chest X-ray documented.
• Level 2 fingerprint background check required.
• CEUs in Alzheimer's, HIV, and medication assistance.
• One letter of recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities and daily living assistance.
• Assists with ambulation, transfers, and dressing.
• Prepares meals according to instructions and nourishes clients.
• Accompanies to errands and medical appointments.
• Performs light housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Provides medication reminders and supports exercises.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift
• Personal care
• Range of Motion Exercises
• Companionship
• Light cleaning

Requirements:

• CNA license or HHA Certificates
