Job summary

Right at Home Palm Beach is seeking compassionate CNAs and HHAs to join our caregiving team. The role focuses on assisting with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and medication reminders in patients' homes.

We offer flexible scheduling, paid training and development, mileage reimbursement, and overtime or holiday pay where applicable. Successful candidates will have a CNA license or HHA certification, a valid driver license, and an in-person CPR certification.

Qualifications

• CNA license or HHA certificate required.
• Valid driver license or state photo ID.
• TB or Chest X-ray required.
• CPR certification required (in-person).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support ambulation and transfers using gait belts.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Provide companionship and monitor patient safety.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean living environment.
• Assist with medications reminders and coordination with care team.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Requirements:

• CNA license or HHA Certificate
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)
• Auto Insurance
• CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
• TB or Chest X-ray
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
• 1 letter of recommendation
