Right at Home Ponte Vedra Beach is seeking compassionate caregivers and home health aides to support clients in their daily lives. If you have a caring heart and a flexible schedule, we want to hear from you.

Position requires Level 2 background screening through the Flash Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Training, advancement opportunities, and flexible travel between clients are provided to support your success.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA license or HHA certificate.
• CPR certification is required.
• TB or chest X-ray clearance is required.
• Second form of ID (SSN, passport, etc.) is required.
• 1 letter of recommendation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, dressing, grooming).
• Support ambulation and transfers.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Provide medication reminders as directed by supervisor.
• Assist with errands and medical appointments and use lifting devices when needed.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift
• Personal care
• Range of Motion Exercises
• Companionship
• Light cleaning

Requirements:

• CNA license or HHA Certificates
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)
• Auto Insurance
• CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
• TB or Chest X-ray
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
• 1 letter of recommendation
