Job summary

Right at Home Greater Jax is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide in-home care. You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments under supervision.

This role requires a valid CNA or HHA credential, CPR, a TB test or chest X-ray, and a Level 2 fingerprint background check. We offer flexible scheduling, paid training, overtime and holiday pay, mileage reimbursement,

Qualifications

• Must have CNA license or HHA certificate.
• CPR certification required (not online).
• TB test or Chest X-ray required.
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities to assist with activities of daily living (e.g., personal hygiene).
• Assists with ambulation/transfers and dressing/shaving.
• Prepares meals and snacks per instructions; accompanies patient to appointments.
• Performs light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry).
• Provides hospice supportive care and medication reminders; assists with exercises; incontinence care.
• Uses lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts as needed.

Essential Functions

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Requirements
