Job summary

Right at Home Greater Jax in Saint Augustine, FL is seeking compassionate CNAs and HHAs to join our home care team. You will assist clients with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping, while delivering reliable and respectful in-home care.

Ideal candidates hold a CNA license or HHA certificate and demonstrate trustworthiness, punctuality, and a caring bedside manner. Flexible scheduling, training, and retention incentives are offered to support you in the field.

Qualifications

• Must have a CNA license or HHA certificate.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused.
• Experience with lifting assistance and mobility aids is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care activities with daily living tasks.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, dressing, and hygiene.
• Prepare meals, run errands, and accompany to appointments.
• Handle light housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Provide medication reminders and hospice supportive care when needed.

We are looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our team: Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA)

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to): Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift
• Personal care
• Range of Motion Exercises
• Companionship
• Light cleaning

Requirements:

• CNA license or HHA Certificate
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)
• Auto Insurance
• CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
• TB or Chest X-ray
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
• 1 letter of recommendation
