Job summary
FOX Rehabilitation is growing in Edison, NJ, and we’re seeking licensed Occupational Therapists who want to deliver one-on-one care to older adults wherever they live, including private residences and senior living communities.
Our Geriatric House Calls™ model emphasizes autonomy, flexible schedules, and meaningful outcomes, with opportunities to incorporate telehealth and virtual care to extend access and continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice or eligibility to obtain.
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one Occupational therapy to older adults in homes or senior living communities.
- Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
- Deliver therapy sessions that support patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
- Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Fitness Specialists.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
