Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Boston is seeking a Healthy Families Home Visitor in Lynn, MA. The role delivers home-based support, parent education, and connections to community services to promote maternal/child health and positive parenting.

The position is full-time (30–40 hours) with responsibilities including travel to families, group sessions, family assessments, safety education, and collaboration with partners to meet family goals. Prior experience with diverse families is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or HiSET equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience with families and/or infants/young children.
• Ability to establish trusting relationships.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.
• Travel locally to provide home visit services to eligible families.
• Offer group-based services including parenting skills education and support.
• Assess family strengths and needs including screening for issues affecting child health.
• Develop bi-annual family service plans based on needs.
• Educate parents on prenatal care, child development, and early literacy.
• Promote safe environments and positive parenting practices.
• Document child growth and collaborate with partners to meet family goals.
