Job summary

Easterseals Vermont, Inc. is seeking a Family Engagement Specialist to partner with families in our Hartford area offices. You will facilitate family meetings and provide in-home support to strengthen families in their homes, coaching parents to ensure safe, nurturing time for children in DCF custody.

You will also call extended family members to explore support and create genograms. This full-time role requires a valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred.
• Two years of human services experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; background check.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate family meetings and in-home support to strengthen families.
• Coach parents to provide safe, nurturing time for children in DCF custody.
