Easterseals-Vt is looking for a Family Engagement Specialist to join our team in Vermont. You will facilitate family meetings and provide in-home support to strengthen families, coaching parents for safe, nurturing time with children placed in DCF custody.

You will also reach out to extended family and build genograms to map support networks. We value resilience and trauma-informed care, with extensive training and supervision provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Two years of human services experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to pass a background check; own vehicle with adequate insurance.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate family meetings and provide in-home support to strengthen families.
• Coach parents to ensure safe and nurturing time with children in DCF custody.
• Engage extended family to explore support and create genograms.
• Coordinate with Department of Children and Families - Family Services Division and support families in moment-to-moment needs.
