Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a Family Intervention Specialist to support at‑risk youth and families in home and community settings. The role involves direct family sessions, ongoing assessments, and coordinating care with other providers, courts, and team members. A driver’s license and flexible scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social services discipline preferred; bachelor’s required.
• Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families (volunteer, internship or paid).
• Clinical experience preferred; strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt schedules.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of 4 to 6 families.
• Hold individual and family sessions with each family 3 times weekly.
• Conduct ongoing youth assessments from a strength-based perspective.
• Attend three weekly meetings for professional development and booster trainings.
• Travel up to 60–80 miles to meet families in homes and communities.
• Collaborate with providers, case workers, and courts to plan treatment.
• Provide on-call crisis support and document in EMR system.
