Job summary

Youth Villages seeks a Family Intervention Specialist to deliver the Intercept in-home program, working with families to prevent out-of-home placements and support reunification when needed.

The role involves conducting individual and family sessions, coordinating with schools and courts, and documenting case progress. A driver’s license and flexibility are required, with travel and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social services discipline is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a social services discipline is required or preferred.
• Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carries a caseload of 4 to 6 families.
• Holds individual and family sessions 3 times a week.
• Drives up to 60–80 miles to meet with families in their homes and communities.
• Completes accurate documentation in an EMR system.
• Provides on-call crisis support and collaborates with providers, case workers, and courts.
