Job summary

Synthesys Brain Health is hiring a Field EEG Technologist/Technician for full-time or PRN roles in Utah. The position requires daily travel to patients' homes and clinical sites to deploy ambulatory and video EEG monitoring equipment, bringing diagnostic services directly to patients in need.

The role demands at least 1 year of hands-on EEG experience, strong technical troubleshooting, and CPR certification. A valid driver's license and independent, team‑oriented work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in EEG setup and monitoring.
• Technical Skills: Substantial computer literacy and technical troubleshooting skills; Collodion skills preferred but not required.
• Certifications: Active CPR certification required.
• Travel: Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Soft Skills: Independently motivated and able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform EEG procedures in accordance with policies, following the International 10–20 System.
• Travel daily to patients' homes and clinical sites to deploy and manage EEG equipment.
• Maintain patient safety throughout clinical and non‑clinical events and communicate with staff as needed.
• Recognize clinically significant events and follow policy regarding critical test results.
• Correlate patient history and symptoms to determine electrode application and recording parameters.
• Explain the purpose of the EEG procedure to patients and staff and answer questions.
