Stratus is seeking an EEG Set Up Technician to perform in-home diagnostic testing, placing electrodes accurately and educating patients through setup and testing. You will manage EKG setup if ordered, ensure equipment safety, and maintain strict HIPAA compliance while handling patient data across diverse home settings.
The role requires high school diploma, travel up to 95%, and strong communication with patients and families. ABRET/JCAHO credentials are a plus.

The EEG Set Up Technician (EEGT) performs in-home diagnostic testing on patients, which generates reports for physician interpretations. Responsible for the proper, accurate placement of electrodes on the patient, taking proper precautions against skin breakdown. Educate patient on process, putting the patient at ease. Also responsible for the proper setup of all EEG equipment and cameras to ensure safety to the patient and others in the home while ensuring accuracy of readings. Also responsible for accurate setup of EKG testing, if ordered by physician. Also responsible for the proper, safe disconnect of all equipment at the conclusion of the study. Properly clean, disinfect and store Company equipment.
