Job summary

Life Steps Foundation Children and Family Services is seeking Early Interventionists to provide 1-to-1 in-home services in the San Gabriel Valley. Requirements include a BA degree with two years of related experience, knowledge of child development, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• BA degree plus two years related experience with young children.
• Knowledge of infant development and parent-child relationships.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to attend monthly staff meetings and trainings.
• Bilingual ability preferred: Mandarin, Cantonese or Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Plan for and assist children to develop in natural environments.
• Provide resources and information to families.
• Support parents emotionally regarding their child’s strengths and challenges.
• Complete authorized service hours and maintain schedules.
• Help families transition to preschool programs.
• Submit billing, payroll, and client reports on time.
• Document IFSP/IPP/IEP goals in reports.
