Job summary

Positive Develoment in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking a Bilingual Early Intervention Specialist for a part-time, on-site role. You will deliver play-based interventions to infants and young children, support communication and social-emotional growth, and help families implement strategies in daily routines.

You will conduct home or center sessions, track progress, and participate in supervision and ongoing trainings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate or bachelor’s degree in ECE, psychology, social work, SLT or OT or equivalent experience.
• California certifications or licensure for early intervention preferred.
• Ability to meet on-site requirements in Santa Barbara with reliable transportation.
• Experience with DIR or relationship-based approaches.
• Strong bilingual communication with families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home or center-based sessions with infants and young children.
• Collaborate with families to set goals and monitor progress.
• Document progress and participate in supervision and trainings.
• Coordinate with other professionals to support individualized intervention plans.
• Communicate with caregivers in both languages and provide coaching.
