Job summary

Positive Development is seeking a Bilingual Early Intervention Specialist to provide direct EI services in English and Spanish. The role involves travel to homes in Ventura and surrounding areas, serving children birth to 3 years, and acting as the case manager under supervision.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Human Services or related field, bilingual Spanish, and the ability to manage a varied daily workload with documentation and caregiver communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field required; Master's is a plus but not required.
• Bilingual in Spanish required; experience with children 0–3 and infants/toddlers.
• Ability to independently organize a varied daily workload including scheduling and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out home sessions using EI principles under supervision.
• Provide services in Spanish when preferred by child/family.
• Train in and conduct EARLY BIRDS DAY-C evaluations.
• Train in and write assessments and clinical notes.
• Participate in EI supervision and case discussions.
• Call families to arrange scheduling and logistics.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and contribute to case discussions.
• Serve as contact for the TCRC service coordinator for each case.
• Work on special clinical projects or duties as assigned.
• Maintain notes, progress reports and required documentation.
